The RED GAP is a new algorithm
demonstrating access to energy - the foundation for
stability, development and sustainability in our democratic
society. In an ever-growing world the most threatening
issues are based on the cost and availability of energy.
Just the cost can not be estimated only with the pure
financial value but should additionally account civil and
security costs, loss of stability, peace and freedom and
superimpose them on our world’s environmental development.
Meanwhile many groups fight for dominance in the energy
sector, pretending to force their models to governmental
entities, producing an extremely dangerous situation
threatening our system and its survival.
Energy has to be seen in its entire context, and there are
no “bad” or “good” forms of energy. Securing access to oil
and gas, discovering new resources and optimizing their use,
is as essential as accelerated development of renewable
energies and alternative approaches; deploying all our
technology and know-how for a better and more responsible
use. Energy security has to be a joint effort between
people, industry and all governmental entities.

First annual meeting ‘RED GAP—2007’
The first meeting is planed for the beginning of 2007 to
present the RED GAP algorithm© to the public. Governmental
and non governmental decision makers, together with industry
and military leaders will simulate and show a series of
scenarios illustrating not only the dangers arising from
disruption, wars, corruption and other threats to our energy
provisioning system but also the emerging opportunities. The
“RED GAP 2007” meeting is intended to be the ground-stone
for ongoing annual conferences drawing the real picture of
the “state of health” of our global energy situation. |
